Making Money, Having Fun, Doing Well!

Summer$tock offers teens (ages 14-18) the knowledge and confidence to make financial planning and investment a part of your life. Working in small investment club teams, you’ll learn how to select stocks, manage risk and build a balanced portfolio that will help them reach your financial dreams. You’ll meet successful investors who share their investment successes – and mistakes – along the road to financial independence. You’ll return home with a plan that will enable you to take charge of your life – in school, in business, and in the world.

At Summer$tock our approach is creative, unexpected and fun, with laughter an integral part of our learning activities. In addition, we balance the investment curriculum with recreational activities in the afternoon, sightseeing excursions, and fun evening programs.

We will be calling the beautiful campus of Scripps College in Claremont, California our home for both Camp $tart-Up and Summer$tock. Scripps’ scenic 37- acre campus, listed in the National Register of Historic Places, is located at the foot of the San Gabriel Mountains, 35 miles east of Los Angeles. Campers will live in campus residence halls, dine in campus dining halls and play and swim in the, just completed, 24,000-square-foot recreational athletic facility.

Camp $tart-Up: $2,000
Summer$tock: $1,750
