What is Camp Start-Up?
Camp Start-Up offers teens (ages 14-18) experiences that will give them the skills to start something great—launch a company, run a non-profit, or just be prepared for life beyond high school. They'll meet the coolest entrepreneurs, learn how to start a business, budget, and save. At our Paul Smith's College location, campers will focus on local and sustainable business models and put their skills to use writing and presenting a business plan for their own muck start-up, while at our Wilbraham & Monson camp they'll do this and build a stock portfolio on a simulated trading floor.

How will they get to camp?
For Session One, we suggest flying to Saranac Lake on Cape Air Airlines, which flies non-stop from Boston’s Logan Airport. We'll meet campers at the airport. Campers may also ride Amtrak which has a daily train from New York City to Westport, NY. Westport is about 1 ¼ hours from campus and we'll have a staffer waiting for you there. More about getting to Paul Smiths College here or find out about accomodations.
For Session Two, we suggest flying into Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks, CT. It's about 45 minutes from campus and we 'll meet you at the airport. Campers can also take Amtrak to Springfield, MA. We'll have a staffer waiting for you there. More about getting to Wilbraham and Monson Academy here or find out about accomodation.
